What We Are Looking For
Baylor University's Learning Spaces team is seeking a Project Coordinator who will assist with planning, ordering, and preparing equipment for audiovisual system installations on campus. This position's responsibilities will include setting up and configuring equipment, tracking purchases and expenditures, and maintaining accurate inventory. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for success in this position.
An Associate's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience are preferred.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Follow detailed procedures to set up devices and load configuration/programming files for all equipment prior to scheduled installation
- Manage financial transactions including purchasing and departmental transfers for all Learning Spaces audiovisual installation projects
- Document and track expenditures
- Complete training as required to maintain system access and purchasing authority
- Oversee receipt and organization of equipment ordered to ensure preparation for scheduled project installations
- Collect and input inventory information to maintain accurate inventory records of all equipment
- Assist with on-campus audiovisual installation projects during times of high demand
- Assist with providing support for classroom technology issues, including answering trouble calls or email tickets during times of high demand
- Work with vendors and equipment manufacturers to manage warranty and repair tickets
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
