HRSA Primary Care Training and Enhancement Grant Project Coordinator

Classification: Support Staff - Full Time - 12 months - 2080 Hours
This is a limited term position from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2021 with review and funding awards on an annual basis.

Reports To: HRSA Primary Care Training and Enhancement Grant Program Director

Description: The Project Coordinator must plan and arrange his or her own work, accomplish assigned objectives, use a wide range of behavioral competencies, and work collaboratively with faculty and staff at the University and the United Community Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordination of implementation of the project as delineated in the grant
  • Implementation of the activities related to the Project Objectives 1 through 3 as outlined in the grant and according to the projects activities and evaluation work plans and timelines, and federal guidelines
  • Project assessment through the evaluation measures as delineated in the grant
  • Maintenance of project records and statistics
  • Assistance to the Program Director in the preparation of federal reports and budget management as delineated in the federal guidelines for the grant

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior experience as a grant project coordinator and/or community organization project management preferred

    Technology Skills:
  • Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly develop competency with new software technology

    Behavioral Competencies:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to adjust to changing work environment
  • Ability to build appropriate work relationships throughout the university and the United Community Center
  • Ability to develop and use detailed procedures
