Under Associate Dean supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide communication support for the division and provide data and report guidance to the Associate Dean and Dean for division required reporting to funders, the college and intermediary outlets.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with IR to retrieve and extrapolate data for internal use and to communicate with stakeholders, reporting or other exterior communication needs.
  • Working with IMC provide support for division's promotions, communication and marketing needs.
  • Provide data for reports and grant development.
  • Review and refine communications, graphics and marketing notices, on the website, for press release, flyers, social media, Constant Contact and other forms of external communication.
  • Work with division's department leaders to design communications and marketing releases.
  • Promotes student awareness of telephone registration service and computer home page to facilities registration/enrollment.
  • Performs administrative tasks associated with reporting and communication.
  • Maintains Salesforce data base, uses Zogotech, Qualtrics, Elevate, Salesforce, Colleague and target X to support communication and reporting requirements.
  • Prepares reports, forms, and general correspondence as needed.
  • Interacts with various stakeholders in the college for promotion of programs and student success.
  • Attends meetings as needed such as division's meeting, IMC and IR related meetings.
  • Troubleshoots issues for accurate communication and reporting.
  • Maintains professional knowledge and up-to-date information for all Workforce Programs.
  • Interacts with college groups, committees etc. for a minimum of 10% college service.
  • Performs related duties as directed.


Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, Education Administration, or other field related to area of assignment; with three (3) years experience and/or training involving area of assignment, which may include business management, program/project management, grant administration, budget development, community relations, curriculum development, education, counseling, substance abuse, non-traditional student services, or public assistance programs; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working within BHCC, understanding systems etc.
  • Experience in working with a wide range of people and groups is preferred.
  • Proficiency in student information systems and technology as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual in English and a second language is highly preferred.


Additional Information:

Salary: $70,929.00 - $76,416.00 (Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement). Full state Benefits. This position is funded by a combination of grant and college funding.

This position is a one year position and is subject to adult education grant renewal
