Job Description

The Clark County AmeriCorps 4-H Grows Here Project is posting for service positions.

4-H Positive Youth Development Instructor AmeriCorps Members will facilitate 4-H workshops at community centers, libraries, schools and other locations to deliver 4-H curriculum and lessons. They will also develop community relationships to lead to the creation of 4-H clubs sparking youth's interest in areas of STEM, civic engagement and healthy living. Members will build the infrastructure within the clubs by recruiting volunteers within the surrounding community who will eventually serve as club leaders.

Who Can Join:

Adults 18 years old and above with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be a citizen, national or resident of the United States.

Service hour commitment:

This position requires 900 hours of service (approximately 20 hours weekly) over a 10-month period.

Living allowance: $7,676

Educational award upon completion of service $3,247.50

The service period is November 01, 2021 to August 26, 2022
