Job Description:

Adjunct instructor is needed for Spring 2021 to teach SPM-215 Sport Marketing and Promotion



This course takes an in-depth look at fundamental marketing practices as applied to various sport venues and provides a detailed analysis of sport as a product, sport consumer markets, and sport product markets. Students will become familiar with marketing strategies applied to specific segments of the sport industry including amateur, college, professional and recreational markets. Students will prepare and organize marketing, promotional, and public relations campaigns applied to the sport and leisure industry. Legal issues and other challenges facing the sport industry will also be examined.


Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Sport Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Availability to teach in the evenings
  • Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations
  • Community College teaching experience preferred


QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE INVITED TO ATTEND THE ADJUNCT ACADEMY PRIOR TO BEING ASSIGNED COURSES.


Additional Information:

Salary: $1,104.00 per credit hour
