Summary Position
Elon University is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Assistant Athletics Director for Events, Facilities, & Capital Projects. This position oversees all varsity athletic venues and the operations, events, and maintenance therein.

General Purpose of Position
This position will oversee all aspects of event management, including supervision of game day staff. Coordinate event management for home contests. Monitor all athletics facilities recommending repair, renovation, and maintenance needs. Assist with capital projects and construction planning for athletics facilities. Demonstrate a commitment to NCAA rules, compliance, and adherence to NCAA regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate event logistics in preparation for all home athletic events.
Oversee operations on-site at home athletic events.
Monitor all athletic facilities to ensure they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained.
Oversee the submission, approval and organization of all camps and clinics.
Assist in the planning and hosting of conference and NCAA tournament events.
Schedule all athletic facilities, balancing departmental needs with other non-athletic campus events.
Coordinate with Facilities Management regarding capital projects and construction planning related to athletic facilities.
